San Francisco Ballet's Nutcracker Benefit Luncheon, Land of Dreams, is a highly anticipated annual holiday fundraising event. I was responsible for translating the new brand refresh led by SF Ballet’s Senior Designer for the current year into various event collateral.

Characters from Helgi Tomasson’s Nutcracker have been featured throughout the material as coloring pages in the program and sticker-sheets for children who attend every year. To help breathe new life into the tirelessly recycled characters, I spearheaded their redesign to feel more friendly, inclusive, and to better accurately reflect the unique costumes presented in the ballet.

SF Ballet had the opportunity to collaborate with the San Francisco Zoo and create a scavenger hunt throughout the enclosures. The graphic design team worked closely with content managers from both organizations to produce life-size cutouts of the updated Nutcracker characters for the activity.
